Thank you for visiting the website and giving me the chance to be your Clearwater Beach Photographer. My name is John Paul. I’m a native Floridian. Born in St. Petersburg and raised in Clearwater, FL. I’ve been photographing family portraits at Clearwater Beach since I was 19 years old. It’s been my full time career now for over 20 years now.

It seems like every Clearwater Beach Photographer out there claims to be “the best”… I make no such bold claims. What I do say is, that if you value a photographer who’s work is consistent with the thousands of images found on this website, instagram, and other social media, then there is a good chance I’m the photographer for you. You will receive images that are consistent with everything you see online.

I’ve been extremely blessed to work with countless beautiful families just like yours. People from all over the country and the world. I love what I do and it shows in all my work. I have an extroverted personality and can be quite eccentric. So basically I’m an expert at getting your kids hyped up and yelling Shark on the beach and then running around like crazy chickens. I love working with families and children. It keeps me young at heart.

I have a big personality which helps put people at ease and keeps your Clearwater Beach Photography fun. Other Dad’s usually compliment me later on how fun the portrait session was, because its hard to be grumpy about doing portraits, when the guy behind the camera is a fun, sarcastic, tatted-up, dude that you’d probably wanna go fishing and grab a beer with. 🙂

My work has been featured on HGTV House Hunters for a family I created portraits for, those images were featured in the house they selected during the show. I’ve gotten to create beach portraits for some cool sports celebs such as Jeanmar Gomez, former closer of the Phillies. Mike Liambas an NHL hockey player. Sigma Lens Corporation used my images for years on their corporate website to advertise their lenses. I’ve had lots of cool moments and found myself in amazing situations throughout my career. But every session, still always remains new and exciting. Because no two sessions are really ever the same. I’m always excited to meet the next family.

Besides being a Clearwater Beach Photographer. At 44 years old, I’m currently in college pursuing a Masters Degree in Art Education. I believe education is life-long and there is always something new to learn. I can never sit still anyways. If you rest, you rust… My professional goal is to teach Art in my 50’s and still create beach portraits.
That’s about it. Thanks for reading. See you at the Beach!
